We find strength in a lot of things... our passions, our abilities, our bad circumstances, our misfortunes, inspiration, and other's stories. These things often help to turn our weakness into strength. But did you know that each of these are just temporary things? They offer us a moment of strength, but these things can never sustain our strength. Why? Because we're finding strength in things that are prone to crumble.
But these words in Proverbs remind us that there is a place where true strength is found - the NAME OF JESUS! And it's those who love Jesus that run to it. The NAME OF JESUS will never fall, it will never disappoint, it will never fail us. The NAME OF JESUS will release that lion in us, give us the ability to face off with the enemy, and will turn our weakness into strength.
So, are you weak today? Then speak the NAME OF JESUS. Are you feeling defeated? Then run to the NAME OF JESUS. Are you depleted? Then rush to the NAME OF JESUS. Are you confused or bewildered? Then look up and call upon the NAME OF JESUS. Are you feeling timid to share your faith? Then ask for help in JESUS' NAME.
