The Bible tells us that during the 7-year Tribulation period, the Antichrist, with the help of the False Prophet, will bring forth a one-world religion (Revelation 17:1-18). Sadly,
this one-world religion is gaining momentum as we move closer to the end. I’ve seen a disturbing bumper sticker many times and if we’re not careful, Christians can be duped by it. It seems good… maybe something the world needs. But this Coexist sticker is anything but. In fact, it’s fueled by Satan. I’m sure you’ve seen it, so I thought it’s worth our time to examine it a little closer.
The word coexist is clear, but the letters have been replaced with symbols. First, here are what the symbols stand for…
C – the star and the crescent moon represent Islam
O – the peace sign represents the pagan Wiccan pentacle
E – the male/female sign represents gay rights or gender equality
X – the star of David represents Judaism
I – the “i” is a symbol representing paganism or witchcraft
S – the “s” is the Chinese yin-yang symbol
T – the cross represents Christianity
When it first came out, it represented just the three big religions: Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Since then, the other symbols have been added. Those who promote this want people to believe that all religions are equal and that they can coexist together. Well, this is not what the Bible teaches. Christianity is not equal with other religions because Jesus rose from the dead and He tells us that HE is the only way to heaven, to eternal life. Other religions simply do not worship the same God as Christians.

In fact, our key verse speaks of a profound truth… light cannot coexist with darkness.
Every other world religion is darkness. Christianity is the only one that’s light. Yet, Christians miss this somehow. Several years ago, a site was opened in Abu Dhabi, called the Abrahamic Family House. This site features three main buildings: a mosque, a synagogue, and a church. The purpose is that people would come from all over the world and worship together. This is VERY deceptive.
The Bible makes it clear… Christians cannot support coexisting with other world religions. That’s a lie from the father of lies. One day, everyone – whether they were for Jesus or against Him – will bow their knees and declare His Lordship. They will speak it out loud.
Friends, let me remind you that Satan is alive and he’s subtle, deceptive. He comes in sheep’s clothing, but underneath, he’s a wolf. Many have already fallen for his lies.
Here’s my encouragement for you today: make sure to study the Bible and do as John tells us: “test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1).
This bumper sticker is just one of many false things floating around today. Stay alert. And ask the Holy Spirit to awaken you to truth.
