We have recently witnessed great evil against God's people: the death of Charlie Kirk, church shootings, etc. Satan is getting more intentional these days about coming after God's people. He has been since the beginning of time, but much more so now. This is a fight. And our enemy is strong, has strategy books, and he goes right for the jugular. Needless to say, you may have been knocked down, beaten up, and left with hurt and pain. But these words here remind us of a great truth... nothing can destroy us.

Have you ever watched a fight and watched a big bully just beat up on their opponent? You watch with your eyes wide open because you are amazed that the opponent won't give up... they get knocked down, but before the blow of the whistle, they muster enough strength to get up again. They're still in the fight. They're bloodied, stumbling, and very weak. But they keep getting back up because they refuse to give up. Eventually, they muster enough strength to kick their opponent to the ground, and they are the winner.

We know that we are on the winning side... Jesus has already won the battle. But right now, the fight is still going on. If you feel worn down, defeated, and ready to give up, then say these words out loud over and over again. As you say them out loud, you'll be reminded of this great truth, and you'll have the strength to get up and keep going. The apostle Paul was constantly knocked down and pressed on every side by troubles, but he never gave up. He kept getting up. He stayed in the fight until Jesus called him home. Let these words encourage you today.
